Using saas•hapily (formerly Zaybra), you can build and view vital reports that quantify metrics like MRR by Persona, Delta Change, Current Totals over Time, Upgrades/Downgrades, Conversions, Customer Lifetime Value, and more.
This guide will explain how to use saas•hapily to build three different MRR reports that reveal valuable insights into your business: Current Total MRR, New MRR This Month, and New MRR Last Month.
Navigate through your HubSpot menu to select the “Reports” page.
Then click the “Create Report” button in the top right to access the Reports Builder page where you will begin building the reports below.
On the Reports Builder page, create a new report from scratch by choosing the “Single Object” report option at the top.
Choose one object: “saas•hapily Subscriptions”.
Click Next.
In the Data tab, Apply the following properties only: Building Start Date, Started On, MRR, and Subscription Status.
Select the Visualization tab at the top to access the Chart options.
Choose the “Summary” chart type. This is indicated by the icon of a circle with a 1 inside.
Drag and drop the “MRR” property to the “Displaying” section under Configure Summary chart options. This will show an MRR value to the right.
Click the Filter button above the chart type options.
In the Filter options, Click into the “Object create date/time” filter.
Change this filter to “Started On” in the Date property dropdowns.
Select “is all time” and then click the “Update filter” button.
Click the +Add Filter option and under saas•hapily Subscription properties and search for “Subscription Status”. Select it and choose the “contains exactly” option.
Then add “active” and “past_due” in the values box here.
Click Apply filter.
This report now shows your Total Current MRR values.
Name your new report accordingly and click Save.
If you would like to display New MRR This Month only, simply update the “Started On” filter in the Filters options to show “this month so far” instead of “all time”.
This report now shows your New MRR values for the current month.
Name your new report accordingly and click Save.
To show data for New MRR Last Month only, confirm the first “Started On” filter in the Filter Options shows “all time”. Then you will add one extra filter to this report.
Click the “AND” button to add an additional “Started On” filter that shows “Last Month”.
Click apply to save the additional filter.
This report now shows your New MRR values for the prior month.
Name your new report accordingly and click Save.
